Hipex manufactures mini ultra-high-temperature (UHT) pilot plants that enable our customers to quickly prototype innovative products. Depending on the sample size, batches can be as little as 5L and create up to 20 different formulations per day. Mini UHT’s offer temperature profiles ranging from 70 to 150°C and flow rates ranging between 15 to 150L/hr.

Hipex offer two standard mini UHTs – one with a nominal flow rate of 25L/hr and the other with a flow rate of 100L/hr. We also specialise in custom designed units as the majority of our units are constructed to our customers’ specifications.
